I have been through INCREDIBLE health obstacles that have given me an immutable perspective: I know what it feels like to consider life after I’m gone. I intimately know the heart wrenching consideration of what will happen to the people you love when you’re no longer with them, of not being present for the entirety of their lives. Both through my own obstacles and through the loss of my mother as a teenager.
My photography is an extension of this knowledge: one day you will not be here, and your loved ones will remember you in fragments, sparked to life by an image. It’s incredibly important to me that the images I make showcase the magnificent you that you truly are. That’s what people love you for (and sometime in-spite of! ) and makes up they dynamic person you are.
I’m practical. I’m logical. I’m playful. I’m tenacious. I take things seriously, and not seriously at all! I see all angles, and understand what holds others back. I provide clarity and objectivity and lightness in unpredictable times. This too shall pass, if it has to be gone through I am going to do it with as much joy and enjoyment as humanly possible.

And now for something lighter…
I grew up in the Okanagan (Oyama is the best!) and love exploring the many exciting and beautiful locations in the valley.
My parent had film cameras that come on all our family adventures, camping road trips, canoeing, scout camps and everyday life. I am the keeper of the Family photo albums (there are 15!) and I love going through them. Especially now that I can show my kids! My Favourite photos are the ones that capture our personalities and how we were with each other. They aren’t perfect, we aren’t perfect and they are real. And that’s part of why I love them.
Whether it’s here in the Okanagan or means exploring a new location (love!) I would love to be a part of your incredible life!
